- TriviaWhen the lads try to think which of the Magnificent Seven each would be, they decide on the following - Dennis is Yul Brynner, Wayne is Horst Buchholz, Barry is Robert Vaughn (Neville suggests Yul Brynner but this is turned down by Bomber), Oz is James Coburn, Neville is Steve McQueen, Bomber is Brad Dexter (the lads can't initially remember the actor's name, but Moxey remembers it later) and Moxey is Charles Bronson (Oz later suggests Robert Vaughn when Moxey runs from the police).
- GoofsThe sign for the house says "Thornely Manor", yet it is spelled "Thornley" elsewhere such as the DVD extras etc.
- Quotes
Oz Osborne: Oi. How often do you get these records changed, lad?
Arthur Pringle: Nothing to do with me, that's up to the Brewery.
Oz Osborne: Well the bloke for the brewery must love Duran Duran. You haven't got one decent record on here, man.
Wayne Norris: Same again, is it?
Bomber Busbridge: No, no, I promised Den I'd get you all back.
Neville Hope: Work.
Albert Moxey: Just going for a piss.
Neville Hope: Hey, better get Den something to eat, eh?
Wayne Norris: Oh yeah. You got any of them pies left, squire?
Arthur Pringle: No, you had the last.
Wayne Norris: You got any Scotch Eggs?
Arthur Pringle: No.
Wayne Norris: You got anything hot?
Arthur Pringle: It's after 2.
Bomber Busbridge: Look, we've got this mate and he's not eaten, so what can you offer?
Arthur Pringle: Crisps, or that sandwich.
Bomber Busbridge: We'll take that then.
Oz Osborne: I don't think we'll be coming back here in a hurry, do you?
Neville Hope: Beer's not bad. Canny drop.
Oz Osborne: No I'm not talking about the beer, man, I'm talking about mein host there, Happy Harry, the Wing Corps.
Arthur Pringle: Are you referring to me?
Oz Osborne: Well you're obviously ex-RAF aren't you, eh, I mean, judging by all the crap you've got hanging on the walls anyway. When'd you get pensioned off then?
Arthur Pringle: I resigned, six years ago.
Oz Osborne: Ahh, six year ago well that'll have been a nice easy stretch was it?
Neville Hope: Oz!
Arthur Pringle: What do you mean, "easy"?
Oz Osborne: Between Suez and The Falklands there wasn't a lot of action, was there? Eh? About as much as we'll find round here.
Arthur Pringle: I trust you'll go and find it somewhere else.

Composed and Arranged by David Mackay and Ian La Frenais
Performed by Joe Fagin
Brad Dexter is the guy that people have trouble remembering.
The main plot progresses. Ally Fraser has bought the manor house cheap to convert from a villain who fled to Spain. There is a dash of money laundering about it and the police are showing an interest.
Dennis and his boys will have to cut corners. They soon find out that the manor is a listed building.
Oz charms the locals in his usual way, especially the pub landlord.
Meanwhile it transpires that Moxey is on the run. He escaped from an open prison.
It's still not coming together. Episode 3 and they are still somewhere in Britain.
