• Ice Maiden #2 : Hey, Freeze, look who dropped in!

  [Mr. Freeze reveals himself. Showing his head walking on robotic spider-like legs] 

  Batgirl : Oh, my God.

  Mr. Freeze : Ah, I was hoping to see you again.

  Batman : What happened?

  Mr. Freeze : The accident that created me finally took its toll. By the time these doctors stopped my deterioration, all that was left undamaged was this.

  Batgirl : That's what you meant when you said it was too late for you.

  Mr. Freeze : Ironic, isn't it? After all I did to keep my wife whole, I end up like this. You understand now why I could not return to my Nora, my treasure. There's no hope for me, or you or your city. Everyone's going to feel my loss.

• Batgirl : [after Freeze releases the doctors]  Well, I guess we're next.

  [starts to walk away, but she walks right into the path of one of Freeze's henchgirls] 

  Ice Maiden #2 : Cute.

  [forces Batgirl back at gunpoint] 

  Mr. Freeze : Sorry my dear, but the time has come for Batman to learn what it's like to lose the one thing he values most.

• Robin : So Freeze just let you go? Doesn't make sense.

  Batman : Nothing about Freeze's behavior makes sense anymore.

  Batgirl : Before, he did everything to keep his wife alive. But after she was revived, he never came to see her.

  Robin : Why not?

  Batman : Nobody knows.

  Batgirl : She finally gave up waiting. Married her doctor and left Gotham for good. And after the last few days, who can blame her?

• Batgirl : [training]  Hey! Best score yet.

  Bruce Wayne : Not bad. For a corpse.

  Batgirl : But I lasted longer this time.

  Bruce Wayne : Dead is dead.

  Batgirl : I say we call it a night.

  Bruce Wayne : Good idea. For me.

  [increasing the difficulty] 

  Bruce Wayne : You need more practice.

• Batgirl : [finding Freeze's temperature-controlled suit]  A spare suit?

  Batman : Must be. It's not cold enough in here for him to be running around without one.

• Batgirl : Batman, are you reading me? Is everything all right up there?

  Batman : Roger, Batgirl. I think we've seen the last of Mr. Freeze.

• Batman : Anything from the tracer?

  Batgirl : Not yet. Sorry I let Freeze get away. I guess I underestimated him.

  Batman : We all did.

  Batgirl : [the Bat-Computer beeps]  Ha! Got him!

  Batman : Tim, you stay with Alfred.

  Tim Drake : But...

  Alfred Pennyworth : I'm quite content by myself, sir. Don't think I'll need anything.

  Tim Drake : See?

  Alfred Pennyworth : Except, uh, perhaps a spot of tea.

  Tim Drake : Tea?

  Alfred Pennyworth : With honey and lemon, if you would.

  Batman : [getting in the Batmobile]  Don't lose that signal.

  Batgirl : As if.

  Alfred Pennyworth : And a few of those lovely tea cookies would do well.

• Ice Maiden #2 : [holding Batman and Batgirl at gunpoint]  Alright, get your hands up. Ha, always wanted to say that.

  [Batgirl pulls an item from her utility belt behind her back. She slowly raises her hands up, then fires a mini-Batarang at one of the henchgirls, knocking her down. The other girl tries to shoot Batgirl, but Batman knocks the gun out of her hand then punches her down. Batgirl holds the first girl in a headlock] 

  Batgirl : Go ahead. I can handle this.

  [Batman fires a grapple line at Freeze's helicopter and snags one of the wheels. He's lifted out of the hanger just before the doors close behind him]
