  Etrigan the Demon : I'm sending him to his room.

  [Etrigan, Klarion and Teekl disappear] 

  Robin : About tonight...

  Batman : Don't ask. Just... Don't ask.

• Klarion the Witch Boy : Exquisite craftsmanship, isn't it, Mr. Wayne? Enjoy it while you can.

  Bruce Wayne : Who are - ?

  Jason Blood : Klarion. Why am I not surprised to see you here?

  Klarion the Witch Boy : We do have a way of bumping into each other, Uncle Jason. Next time, it will be on purpose.

  [starts to walk away] 

  Bruce Wayne : Jason.

  Jason Blood : Bruce. Thanks for stepping in.

  Bruce Wayne : It was nothing. But tell me, how'd you ever get a brat like that for a nephew?

  Jason Blood : We're not related. For some reason, it amuses him to call me "Uncle". But don't underestimate him. He'll do anything to get what he wants.

  Bruce Wayne : Surely his parents...

  Jason Blood : Don't expect any help from them. The little witch boy turned them into mice.

  Bruce Wayne : You're not serious.

• Tim Drake : Whoa! So all of this is what I think it is, right? Magic? Sorcery?

  Jason Blood : "There are more things Ven and Earth, Horatio, that are dreamt of in your philosophy."

  Tim Drake : What's that supposed to mean?

  Bruce Wayne : It means get up. We've got a branding-iron to find.

• Klarion the Witch Boy : You hate me, don't you?

  [Etrigan is silent] 

  Klarion the Witch Boy : Speak up! I order you.

  Etrigan the Demon : Yes. I hate you.

  Klarion the Witch Boy : But there's nothing you can so about it. Not while I have this!

  [waves the branding iron] 

• Bruce Wayne : [seeing Etrigan separated from Jason]  Jason? Etrigan? What's happening?

  [Etrigan turns to leave] 

  Bruce Wayne : Etrigan, wait! Something's wrong.

  Etrigan the Demon : Nothing is wrong. My new master awaits.

• Jason Blood : Get me that blue powder on the shelf over there.

  [Tim does] 

  Jason Blood : Now spread it around us in a circle.

  Tim Drake : What good will that do?

  Jason Blood : Do what I say!

  [Tim begins pouring it on the floor] 

  Jason Blood : Sutkulag, ko-dom, ko-dom. Sutkulag, ko-dom, ko-dom.

  Tim Drake : Okay, it's done.

  [Etrigan crashes through the wall] 

  Tim Drake : Ahh!

  Jason Blood : This is the only place where you'll be safe from him. Nostabillib, levram... niapitac!

  [a circular barrier forms from floor to ceiling] 

  Klarion the Witch Boy : Don't give up now, Etrigan.

  Tim Drake : [watching him try to break through]  Think I could have some of this powder for my utility belt?

• Klarion the Witch Boy : [fighting Batman]  Oh, I see. You're having some help from Uncle Jason, aren't you? Etrigan!

  [Etrigan lands behind him] 

  Klarion the Witch Boy : No more games! Kill him!

  Etrigan the Demon : Yes, master.

  Tim Drake : You better think of something, and fast.

  [Jason takes out a pendant; as it refracts light, Etrigan sees multiples of Batman appear] 

  Klarion the Witch Boy : It's another one of Uncle Jason's tricks! Get them all!

• Jason Blood : It was the demon's presence in my body all those centuries that kept me from aging. But now I'll be showing every day of my age until...

  Bruce Wayne : That's not going to happen, Jason. Not if I can help it.

  Tim Drake : Me, too.

  Bruce Wayne : You're staying here, Tim. Jason might need you.

  Tim Drake : Bruce, you're trying to find a kid. Who'd be better than another kid to help?

  Jason Blood : I have a feeling Klarion won't be hard to find.

• Tim Drake : Who's this? Sure is ugly.

  Jason Blood : It's Merlin's demon, Etrigan.

  Tim Drake : Merlin? The knights-in-armor magician guy? He had his own demon?

  Jason Blood : He summoned it to defend the realm of Camelot, Merlin's home. When Camelot finally fell, Merlin decided to keep the demon in the service of humanity and merged the creature with one of King Arthur's noblemen.

  Tim Drake : Look, there's something on the back of it.

  [turning the bust around] 

  Tim Drake : It looks like you!

  Jason Blood : You think?

  Tim Drake : But that'd be impossible. You'd have to be over 1,500 years old.

• Auctioneer : The suggested opening bid is 10,000.

  Klarion the Witch Boy : 100,000.

  [murmurs as he sits down] 

  Klarion the Witch Boy : I said 100,000.

  Auctioneer : Ah, Master Klarion. Good to see you again. 100,000 is the bid.

  Tim Drake : That kid has a hundred grand? You've gotta raise my allowance.

  Bruce Wayne : Shh.

  Auctioneer : Do I hear...

  Jason Blood : 110.

  Auctioneer : 110 is the bid from Mr... Blood, is it?

  Klarion the Witch Boy : 120.

  Jason Blood : 130.

  Klarion the Witch Boy : 140.

  Jason Blood : 150.

  Klarion the Witch Boy : 250.

  Auctioneer : Going once... going twice...

  Bruce Wayne : One million.

  Auctioneer : [murmurs from the audience]  The bid is one million. Going once... going twice...

  [gaveling] 

  Auctioneer : Sold!

  Tim Drake : There goes my raise.
