But it'll do any good, let me assure you that should we fail... no one will survive. The rest of our friends must sit in anticipation of our skill.

  Lieutenant Starbuck : Or lack thereof...

  Lieutenant Starbuck : [sees that his blaster has used up while shooting the Cylons in the mine]  Oh, frack!

• Commander Adama : And just what did you think you were doing, volunteering for a mission like that? Sire Uri must be laughing up his sleeve.

  Captain Apollo : What's worrying you more, the mission or your being made to look foolish by Uri?

• [Zac wants to take Starbuck's place on patrol, and has talked Starbuck into faking an upset stomach] 

  Lieutenant Zac : Aw, come on, Apollo! I've studied my coordinates from here to the Cylon capital - my ship's ready to go!

  Captain Apollo : Well, that's a real stroke of luck! I guess you're gonna have to pull Starbuck's patrol with me!

  Lieutenant Zac : Woo! See you at the launch!

  [Zac leaves Apollo and Starbuck] 

  Captain Apollo : [watching Zac]  Were we ever that young?

  Lieutenant Starbuck : I don't know - I can't remember that far back!
