A young lad from a care home is taken in for causing damage to property, Gary tried to fight his cause, meanwhile Jo Morgan is back, giving evidence alongside Scott and Woods against a known criminal.
A good episode, with two very interesting stories running consecutively, and as always it's going to see a familiar face back at Sun Hill. I perhaps favour the story of Junior over the trial.
The trial is a bit of a fiasco, but the story is an interesting one, you can understand the frustrations of the prosecution team.
Good to see Meera Syal, and great to see the return of Jo Morgan, although her part is somewhat limited bere.
Fans of the show will recognise Stacey, Moya Brady would of course appear in a few years time as doomed PC Roberta Cryer, more on that later down the line.
More to come from this? Seems likely, 7/10.
