ok story, but ridiculous with 27 year old as "boy"
MiketheWhistle12 February 2019
Typical BW story with limited bionic action. But the story lacks because the man playing the "boy" is obviously not a boy and the actor was 27 at the time. Hard to believe they couldn't find anyone younger to act as Jaime's love puppy.

Jaimie rescues Russian "boy" from behind the "Iron Curtain" of the So. Cal. foothills

Does the protagonist look like a teenager? Probably not, but he still looked fairly youthful and 30yr-olds playing teenagers in film and tv is nothing new. The bigger distractions were the Southern California countryside standing in for the USSR and neither the boy nor any of the Soviet antagonists bothering to even attempt Russian accents.

Solid but a bit dull

Warning: Spoilers
An ok episode but like much of the third series can never escape the feeling that the show was starting to feel tired and was running out of stories and enthusiasm. Whether it was the writing or the casting or the acting I don't know, but the whole 'someone falls in love with Jaime on a mission' theme just never feels real or believable. Even the whole 'rescue someone from behind the iron curtain' storyline had already been used before on the show. Possibly the only interesting part for me - and even then, I'm not sure if it was an unfolding plot development leading towards the show's conclusion or if it just came out that way by accident - is Jaimes growing unhappiness with the way the OSI are slowly taking over her entire life.

Boring Episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was lackluster. The actor playing the son was portrayed as being severely shell-shocked at seeing his father seemingly killed while trying to defect. But the actor's portrayal was very stilted, and unconvincing- the real-life actor was much older than the teenager he was portraying. The subplot of the teen having a crush on Jaime being an impediment to his rescue operation was rather unnecessary and again, unconvincing. But Ms. Wagner's portrayal of Jaime was good, as usual.

Dull Story with Irritating Character

I didn't understand why Jaime was saving this Sandor character. He acted like he had taken too many shots to the head. His actions and dialogue were irritating, and unrealistic, and in the end, I wish she had just left him in that prison.
