Adam gets to find out who someone is that looks like him and is in a mess of trouble. Good support in this episode provided by Kelly Thordsen. His performance keeps this story from drowning in soap. Poor Adam runs into some awful people. He needs all the help he can get. Not much of the other Cartwrights in this one.

It would be nice to add a little to the synopsis to include the double cross of Tom Burns and Lola's character's belief in him.
Tom Burns was set up by his wife, who had an affair with a local banker. The banker is in love with Mrs. Burns, but she is cold blooded and only interested in money. Meanwhile Tom has made friends with a saloon girl, who falls in love with him, then finds out he's married.
Mrs. Burns actually shot her husband in an old mine shaft and tried to blame some locals at the town saloon. When the banker sees Adam, thinking he is Tom, he wants proof that Tom is dead. Adam and the saloon girl have been out to the mine area and meet up with the guys involved with Mrs. Burns to unravel the mystery.
