Faking the old masters
bkoganbing10 March 2021
When the owner of a valuable painting, a former judge in Madrid County is killed when he catches an intruder substituting a copy for the original that Madrid County law enforcement machine is on the job. The fact that the deceased was a friend of Edgar Buchanan's only makes them work overtime.

The key here is the not so infamous at the time OJ Simpson who is an ex-convict whom Glenn Ford took a personal interest in. He's faking some old masters.

Peter Ford who played their forensics expert in Madrid County has a ky role to play in this episode, Look also for good performances by disgruntled art professor Don Porter and George Murdock as a syndicate hit man and Rosemary Forsyth as our Madrid County Sheriff's special consultant on art.

Nothing special in this episode
searchanddestroy-19 March 2015
It begins with a burglary, at night, in an old but fancy mansion, in which the home owner is killed. So, our cops lead the investigation...Clues, inquest, suspects, really nothing worth here. It is question of paintings, fake notorious portraits. OJ Simpson, the notorious - too - football player, who was popularized with his - also too - notorious trial in which he was accused to kill his wife, so OJ Simmson plays here a painter or the mob, at least the evil guys. Look out for Rosemary Forsythe too; remember the beautiful dame who was in WAR LORD, co starring Charlton Heston. Directed by Leo Penn, a prolific film maker for TV industry.
