"Life Sentence"
TyeNote10 December 2006
The segment of what I viewed from the Campbell Theater Episode, "Life Sentence" demonstrated such an excellent and intense performance by all actors involved, especially by the young Actor, James Dean. I found James Dean in this television episode alone with many other television performances of his to be one of his best demonstrations of his unique skills as a talented actor. It was also the way Dean convincingly portrayed the character "Hank Brady" while he fascinatingly integrated a little humor throughout this serious performance. So, I have now (2006) been trying to track-down a complete version of this episode alone with many more of his television episodes. Does anyone know where one can find many of James Dean's early television episode performances which would include "Life Sentence" (Campbell Playhouse Episodes), his "Danger" episodes and (in other words) a more expansive selection of James Dean television works on DVD than the one which is presently circulating? Is one in the process of being made? This actor (James Dean alone with many other actors of varying nationalities, such as African American,Indian/Native American, Asian, European, Hispanic, etc,) was so talented, I wouldn't have a problem creating a DVD of Dean's early television appearances myself...
