- The Angels (sans Tiffany) are hired to investigate the murder of a young model named Jody Mills, as well as find out who got her to do drugs. Kelly and Kris try to get a job at the Woodman Modeling Agency and meet the victim's former roommate, Julie Rogers, whom they suspect of trying to supply Jody with drugs on the night she was killed.—The TV Archaeologist
- The agency works on its next case without Tiffany who has decided to remain back east for a while. That case is to locate Jody Mills for her father. Jody came to Los Angeles from her home in Nebraska to pursue a modeling career, she last known to be represented by the respectable Woodman Modeling Agency owned by Dale Woodman. By the time Mr. Mills arrives in Los Angeles from Nebraska, Jody's dead body is discovered in a back alley, she with cocaine in her system. Despite Jody's death being investigated by the police, Mr. Mills still wants to hire the agency as he fears that left solely in the hands of the police, it may end up a forgotten cold case. The Angels and Bosley approach the case from what end up being three related angles. The first is Jody's personal life in Los Angeles which consists largely of friendships with two fellow models working at Woodman's, Terry Mann and Julie Rogers, the latter Jody's roommate. Beyond Julie having a short rap sheet of minor offenses, she who looks like a woman who doesn't like to be crossed, she has a male friend named Harry who appears to be on the shady side. The second is the site where Jody's body was found, it behind a sleazy photo studio where rooms can be rented by photographers and their model subjects for largely less than savory photo shoots. And the third is the modeling agency itself, which Kelly and Kris try to infiltrate as models wanting Woodman to represent them. They discover that Woodman holds lavish parties for his clients and A-list models at which to schmooze, those parties where cocaine seems to flow easily and provided on site by a dealer. What is not as obvious is what happens to the agency's B-list models, their whereabouts within the system which may be associated to the sleazy photo studio outside where Jody's body was found. Beyond discovering and apprehending Jody's murderer, the case has two other outcomes, one which the Angels, Bosley and Charlie probably did not anticipate at the start of the case.—Huggo
