- The Angels are asked to find out why the old feud between two rival moonshiners in Gifford county is heating up again. Kris joins the Catlin's as their new still master. Kelly becomes the Bartlett's new driver. Julie gets a job as a waitress at Etta's Diner. Bosley, posing as a rich Texan, offers both parties a deal to buy their liquor.—The TV Archaeologist
- To assist Governor Whitman who has a special task force dealing with the issue, the Angels and Bosley travel to rural Gifford County to work on a case of two moonshining families, the Barletts and the Catlins, who have not only been competing families in the business for over one hundred years, but have been at each other's throats for all that time. They have largely left each other alone to do their own business with their own customers for the last generation or so, but there has been a recent flare up between the two families, each blaming the other for their recent mishaps. The task force has information that an unknown outside party is trying to escalate the feud to be able to capitalize on the Barletts and Catlins killing each other off to take over the market. Rather than the Governor just shutting down the two family businesses, he wants to discover who is causing this recent flare-up and why. The best way is for the Angels and Bosley to go undercover, Kelly and Kris infiltrating each one of the two families to try not only to find out from the inside what is happening, but to mitigate the issues between the two families, Julie getting a job at a neutral site of Etta's Diner as a waitress, and Bosley to be in direct competition to whoever is trying to take over the market. Complicating matters is that there is a connection between the youngest generation of the two families, Bobby Dan Bartlett and Melinda Catlin who are secretly in love with each other.—Huggo
