Norm and Cliff's Excellent Adventure (#9.11)

Warning: Spoilers
Norm and Cliff are in the mood to have some fun and get it by making people fight. But their plan with Sam and Frasier in which Sam ends up cutting Frasier's card gets a bit out of hand and Frasier doesn't want to come to Cheers anymore. So they try to make it good again and get a punishment for which Sam uses Woody's new interest in shopping channel.

Loved this episode. Norm and Cliff should have more adventures together, was absolutely hilarious. Like the way Cliffy tried to make Frasier and Lilith to fight. And there was a lot of Frasier! His fight with Sam was great, he was perfect in it. Just like his talk to Lilith. Many great lines through the episode.

Actually a Criminal Act
Hitchcoc3 September 2019
Apparently there was a time when Cliff and Norm used to do things to get others in trouble. In this episode, they start something between Carla and Rebecca. Not a big deal, but when Frasier comes into the bar with a group of psychologists, he tries to pay with his gold card. But Norm calls the credit card company and reports it stolen (this is a stretch, certainly). Anyway, Sam is forced to cut the card up and send the pieces to the company. Did anyone bother to think that Frasier is innocent here and should get his card replaced? It leads to some really hard feeling and the boys are contrite but cowardly. A subplot is Woody's obsession with the Home Shopping Network. He is maxing out his card and giving Rebecca lousy presents. It is true addiction. I just had trouble with the cruelty of the joke.
