- Dr. Frasier Crane: Lilith, the child is two weeks overdue.
- Woody Boyd: Boy, two weeks overdue? Boy, you'd be out a buck forty at the library.
- Sam Malone: [reading a newspaper article] "100 years ago today, a new tavern opened at 112-1/2 Beacon Street."
- Cliff Clavin: Wait, wait, a mailman never forgets an address, now. Why is 112-1/2 Beacon Street sending a message to my brain?
- Carla LeBec: Probably because you're sitting on it.
- Cliff Clavin: Carla, I hate it when you make those sitting on my brain jokes.
- Norm Peterson: Cliffy, she meant 112-1/2 Beacon Street. That's Cheers' address. You're sitting here.
- Carla LeBec: No, I was making a Cliff sitting on his brain joke.
- Cliff Clavin: [to Norm] See, I told you. Thank you, Carla.
- Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane: Frasier, the child will be born when the child is ready to be born.
- Cliff Clavin: Well, enjoy your freedom, Lilith. Cause once you've gone through the unspeakable horror of childbirth and the painful drudgery of parenthood, you'll spend the rest of your life wishing you'd sold the little brat to the gypsies.
- Carla LeBec: How would you know?
- Cliff Clavin: Ah, that's what my Ma tells me.
- Rebecca Howe: Oh my God, it's him, it's the Mayor.
- Sam Malone: Hey, it really is the Mayor.
- [yells over to the Mayor]
- Sam Malone: Hi.
- Rebecca Howe: [noticing what he's got in his hands] And look, he's got a little plaque.
- Woody Boyd: He's probably too busy to brush between meals.
- Dr. Frasier Crane: [Following the very overdue Lilith out of the pool room] I'm beginning to wonder if you're fit to carry my seed!
- Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane: I'm beginning to wish you'd kept it!
- [Frasier and the very overdue Lilith come down from Melville's]
- Dr. Frasier Crane: [Bending down toward Lilith's abdomen] BOO!
- Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane: Frasier, it's not hiccups. You can't scare it out.
- Rebecca Howe: My God, Lilith! You still haven't delivered that child yet?
- Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane: No, I haven't, Rebecca.
- Dr. Frasier Crane: Lilith's logic is that if she can keep clenching long enough, we may bypass the Terrible Twos.
- [Frasier missed his son's birth]
- Dr. Frasier Crane: [Sits on the hospital bed next to Lilith] The greatest moment of my life, and I missed it. You must want to kill me.
- Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane: [Cradling the baby] Now, Frasier, now is not the time for reproaches. Now is the time to rejoice. The reproaches can come tomorrow and for the next fifty years.
- Dr. Frasier Crane: Is it any wonder I love you so?
