Florida Friebus and Hope Summers as the Nelson sisters
"Garage Sale" opens with City Inspector Flynn (Richard X. Slattery) threatening to slap a $300 citation on Ed's garage if he doesn't get rid of the old mementos that have piled up all the way to the ceiling. Chico hits on the idea of a garage sale, where the Nelson sisters, Althea (Florida Friebus) and Lucille (Hope Summers), are chased out before they can buy anything. Bartender Rudy (Louis Quinn) purchases a hood ornament for 5 bucks, before Ed learns that it's a Pierce Arrow worth a cool $500. Chico tries to break the news gently, while The Man contemplates what to do: "why do you keep saying no?" "I'm talking to the part of me that wants to kill you!" Not only do they have to work on Rudy, but Ed is forced to be extra nice to the eccentric Nelson sisters.
