- The body of a former POW is seen lying on the street with a gun nearby. Eventually we see him gunned down and dying slowly from a gut shot.
- A policeman places a gun on the table to intimidate a suspect. He asks him how long the victim bled.

- Some of the adult characters drink alcohol from time to time. A 15 year-old boy appears to be stoned and possibly affected by alcohol. A bag of pot is taken from him.
