This episode was very confusing.Although I only had to see it twice to understand what happened, it took a third time to catch something very important that happens at the beginning. It's hard to say much about it without spoiling the episode, so I will just say they do something sneaky and I can't be the only one who missed it.Anyway, the episode starts with a dictator on TV saying that he is banning cars and telephones and TVs, while we see snobby rich people freaking out over it.That's clearly another left-wing political statement that doesn't make any sense.Like poor people would be happy about that stuff. But it doesn't even matter because it has absolutely nothing to do with the episode. After that there are lots of laughs, even though most of the stuff doesn't make sense. Then they hit you with the twist and some of the stuff does end up making sense. It's basically the same plot that was used in the The 12 Days of Christine episode of Inside No. 9.I read a review of that by some egghead who claims that it was some stupid old literary reference so I guess these guys stole it too.If you were interested enough to read this, you will like the episode.
