And unfortunately spoiled by humor, which was brought in the series after the third season, or during the end of it. It is a shame because the plot was promising. After an hostage.case during which there was a casualty, one of the bystander is an old timer, a hoodlum in his sixties - played by Charles Gerard - involved in a counterfeit money case. It could have been far better without this light touches that diminish the tension and suspense. But it remains watchable. I highly prefer dark, bleak, gritty plots. And, believe me, during the COMMISSAIRE MOULIN series, there were plenty of them, more interesting than this one. And the bank heist is so ridiculous, only half of the gangsters are masked, and none of them gloved.... And George Moréas - an ex cop - wrote it.....
