This is one of the episodes with the scene of Mainwaring & the never seen Elizabeth in the bunk beds in the shelter. The biggest clue of her appearance is the top bunk bed sagging, suggesting she is likely to be a large lady.
Footage from the well-known feature-film version of The Four Feathers (1939), produced by Alexander Korda, and directed by Zoltan Korda, is used in the flashback sequences of Sudanese campaign.
The flashback scenes take place from August to September 1898.
