I gave it a try as the description sounded interesting and CBC does have some good hits.
Alas, I gave up about 10 minutes into the first episode. Couldn't make out the dialogue with the overpowering music/metal/shredding.
Sadly this is becoming typical with a lot of modern TV shows. Being "older" I've had my hearing checked because of this and my hearing is fine. The audiologist told me it's a common complaint with many people nowadays with more 'recent' (past 20 years) TV shows and even some news stations. And it comes from all ages. Not just the elderly.
Google shows no shortage of complaints about this issue so it's clear the studios aren't listening to complaints or, they just don't care about viewers other than those in a specific "demographic".
