Good outing for the red-headed stranger....

Willie Nelson's film career has been memorable , because ultimately he always plays himself. Much like John Wayne, he is comfortable in his own skin(on & off the screen). This appearance on Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman is no exception.

Willie is believable and at ease in the role of the legendary lawman. He plays the part honestly, warts & all. This TV show was always best when they brought in special guest stars. The writing was thoughtfully done and Jane Seymour has good chemistry with Nelson.

Along with the earlier appearance of Johnny Cash on the show , this episode represents one of the best of the entire series.
