- Captain Archer must convince Vulcans, Tellarites and Andorians to unite to find the Romulan ship.
- The Romulan chameleon ship changes its appearance to that of Enterprise and destroys a Rigellian ship. It's becoming more and more clear they are trying to destabilize the region and captain Archer is determined to find it. T'Pol suggests creating a network of 128 ships. Since the Vulcans can't send enough ships, Archer must convince the Tellarites and Andorians to cooperate. It will be hard, especially Shran seems really upset that his partner Talas has been injured. Meanwhile Trip and Reed try to disable the ship from the inside. They are up against the Romulans controlling the ship, who do everything in their power to stop them.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- The Drone changes her configuration to the Enterprise and destroys a Rigelian scout ship with a complement of eighteen after the release of the distress signal to blame Archer. Meanwhile the truce between Shran and Gral is on hold and T'Pol calculates the need of one hundred and twenty-eight ships to create a network to catch the marauder ship. Archer tries to convince the Tellarites and the Andorians to help the Enterprise to destroy the Drone that is destabilizing the area; however Talas dies and Shran challenges Naarg to an Andorian duel called Ushaan. Archer concludes that the Tellarites and the Andorians would not be spendable and decides to be the substitute for Naarg in the mortal combat.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- "United" continues from the events in "Babel One". On Romulus, Admiral Valdore (Brian Thompson), Romulan scientist Nijil (J. Michael Flynn), and their pilot continue to control the mysterious "marauder", cloaking it to look like Enterprise and then using it to destroy a Rigelian vessel. The Rigellians send a visual recording of the attack before their destruction and The Rigellian command contacts Starfleet to arrest Archer.
Despite this success, Senator Vrax (Geno Silva) chastises them for losing full control of their drone since Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker III (Connor Trinneer) and Lieutenant Malcolm Reed (Dominic Keating) are still on board. Vrax wants Valdore and Nijil to bring the drone back, since the ship is a prototype modified military vessel and can be traced back to the Romulans, if the Vulcans inspect its propulsion matrix.
Meanwhile Tucker and Reed figure out the controls of the drone ship and start to take control over from the ROmulans. Valdore and Nijil then work to trap Tucker inside a service junction as he attempts to divert power. After incapacitating him with leaked radiation coolant, Valdore then orders Reed to re-establish the damaged warp matrix on the drone or see his crew-mate die. Reed complies in order to rescue Tucker.
But Valdore betrays Reed and traps them both inside the service junction when Reed goes in to get Tucker out. Reed and Tucker manage to rig some explosives and disable the drone's electrical systems before escaping into the ship's super-structure. The Romulan ship cannot escape to Warp, so Valdore starts to work on its self destruct sequences.
Meanwhile, aboard Enterprise, Commander T'Pol (Jolene Blalock) and Ensign Travis Mayweather (Anthony Montgomery) devise a surveillance grid that will require the coordinated effort of 128 space ships. After seeking help from Earth and Vulcan, Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) realizes that he will need to obtain Andorian and Tellarite support too (Vulcan can deploy only 23 ships and Earth ships will take weeks to arrive).
Archer's attempt hits a snag (Andorians and Tellarites had agreed to deploys their fleets and all 128 ships are in position) when Lieutenant Talas dies from the phaser wound sustained earlier. A devastated Commander Shran (Jeffrey Combs) openly challenges Naarg (Kevin Brief) to a blood-duel using Ushaan-Tor, an Andorian ice-miner's tool. Realizing that a death will derail trade negotiations, Archer announces himself as the Tellarite's substitute. The duel proceeds and Archer is fortunately able to win, and spares Shran's life after severing an antenna.
With the duel completed, Shran promises continued Andorian support for the grid, and the Tellarite's Ambassador Gral (Lee Arenberg) does the same. Enterprise, as a flagship, soon relocates and re-engages the drone. Reed and Tucker, caught in the crossfire and unable to be transported out, narrowly escape death by ejecting themselves into open space. A mixed fleet of "allied" vessels then arrive, forcing Vrax and Valdore to recall the drone at warp speed (Valdore was able to restore the warp drive just in time before the allied ships arrived) to Romulan space. Archer then invites the Andorians and the Tellarites to begin their negotiations early. On Romulus, the drone's pilot (Scott Allen Rinker) is revealed to be an Aenar, another species of the Andorian race.
