Very funny dancing.

Has some witty moments. The dancing with feet elevated was later done by Lilly in the "Munsters" .Got to love the birds beak as the record player stylus. Also, the little dinosaur as the mailman's (John Stephenson) cart. Bea Benaderet and Jean Vander Pyl did wonderful voices as the dance teachers. Fire Chief Joe Rockhead's (John Stephenson) lisp disappeared and returned numerous times. Alan Reed and Mel Blanc again doing numerous voices. Here they were the extras on the volunteer fire crew. I always as a kid watching enjoyed the opening and closing credits. Bedrock going to sleep at night turning off all the home's lights shot from a distance was a favorite always.

Dancing Lessons

The Flintstones and Rubbles win free tickets to a swanky charity dance, but Fred and Barney can't dance.

An amusing episode, not one of the best. Fred and Barney don't want to tell the wives they can't dance. They join Joe Rockhead's volunteer fire department, which is just a ruse for husbands to sneak out at night. Since Bedrock is made up of stone, there are no fires. Joe rings a bell every night for the husbands to run off to get away from the wives. Some funny scenes of Fred and Barney taking the dance lessons.
