Warning: Spoilers
Feudin' & Fussin', from Season 2, shows Fred at his most stubborn and grumpiest. Let's just say he leans a big lesson in the process. Guest voices include John Stephenson as Sam Quickstone the Realtor and Hal Smith as the rich homebuyers from Texas. It was written by Warren Foster, Mike Maltese and Arthur Phillips. Fred looks forward to his golf date with Charlie Palmerstone, a character we don't see. Barney tries his hand at golf so he can play with Fred sometime in the future. Unfortunately, he wakes Fred up. Barney wishes him good luck for his match and Charlie calls the Flintstones to say he can't make it. Fred is so eager to get to the golf course, he doesn't wait for the message. So Barney follows Fred all the way to the golf course to tell him. Fred says "Why did you wait until now to tell me?" Barney apologizes and Fred coldly says "You're not responsible for your actions. You're just stupid" and drives off. Later that night, Fred gets ready for bridge night with the Rubbles. Wilma hears what went on and suggests Fred apologize for what he said. Then she demands he apologize "live! In person!" So Fred apologizes but doesn't sound sincere, as he tells Barney to hurry over. Betty insists Fred apologize again. "Sorry, only one apology per customer," Fred snaps. A few minutes later, Fred comes over and literally drops off all the stuff he borrowed from Barney, rather violently! Fred and Barney don't talk for weeks and Fred plays bridge with himself, even badminton! So Barney calls a realtor who comes over immediately and puts a For Sale sign on the Rubbles' property. Meanwhile, Fred feels bad and Wilma shares an old photo album with pictures of Fred and Barney. Fred starts to cry and decides to go over to apologize to Barney. But then he overhears the Rubbles' discussing moving. Soon, an interested buyer from Texas comes by. And Fred tries to get the buyer disinterested. First, he gets a bass drum and tells the potential buyer he usually practices at night. Alas, the buyer is a tuba player and asks if he can join Fred's band. So then Fred disguises himself as a construction worker and tells the buyer there's going to be a highway going through the house! The buyer changes his mind about the house and Sam the realtor also washes his hands of trying to sell the Rubbles' house. "You didn't tell me a highway was going through the property!" So Fred admits to Barney and Betty he made up the highway story and apologizes for his actions. Overview: The hat and mustache looks a lot like the one Fred later used in Mother In Law's Visit. This has some great lines like "Everybody in Texas is rich" (I lived in Texas and can testify differently), an elephant being used as a water faucet saying "Just can't wait 'til they invent the faucet" and Betty overhearing what Fred says in his sleep "Fred even dreams corny!" Another funny joke is Barney opening the book on golf, "Yep, even if wedged between 2 trees." Most of all, it teaches a lesson to anyone who's upset with a friend. 10 houses for sale out of 10!

Fred Flintstone's bad attitude and bad behavior just may ring a few bells...

Warning: Spoilers
Fred Flintstone is in rare form here in this episode. Fred is always a gruff,get-to-the-point kind of guy but in this episode he goes off the deep-end with rude and selfish behavior towards his supposed best friend,Barney Rubble. Much like it can happen in real-life,what is at first a small-problem between Fred and Barney isn't properly dealt-with and consequently that small problem grows bigger and bigger until things really get out of hand. Fred realizes he's been a jerk when it comes to light that Barney is working on selling his house!

The next thing you know,a rich Texan shows up with a serious interest in buying Barney's house (for big money!) It almost looks like a done-deal,Barney and Betty Rubble may be moving soon!

Can Fred possibly un-do the problems he's caused, and keep Barney as a friend and neighbor? Check it out !
