Another Excellent Episode

Warning: Spoilers
One of the funniest episodes! Trevor Einhorn is great as usual, with his hilarious deadpan delivery. The plot centers around a comedy of errors, as Martin accidentally ingests Niles's pot brownie and gets high, while Niles mistakenly believes himself high after eating a regular brownie. I couldn't understand why I seldom see this episode, until I read the comments under Trivia, and it was mentioned that Hallmark doesn't show this episode. Too bad, it's excellent!

Wow! That's Some Dope!!

If you can put aside the effect that one marijuana brownie can have, this episode is so funny. When Niles decides he needs to become a rebel to impress his father, the brownie Roz gave him ends up in Martie's possession. The way the two of them act from that point on is wonderful.

High Holidays

Warning: Spoilers
Obviously the idea of the characters taking drugs won't be to everyone's taste, but this I thought was another good entry from the eleventh series of 'Frasier', and boasted some very funny moments.

It's just fun to see the cast play off of each other sometimes, and the script here enables them to do so.

It's been nice in this final year too to see John Mahoney get more to do as Martin Crane, having been seriously underused during the previous three years of the show. Then again, other than fleeting moments, nobody really came out of that period looking great.

The storyline with Freddie feels very much of its time, and perhaps more of the episode could have been given over to it, or a whole other episode entirely.

Good stuff overall though.

Why were Martin and Freddy sharing a room?
professor_of_gamez5 July 2023
It just seemed odd to see Freddy going down the hall to Frasier and Martin's bedrooms, when Daphne's had been unoccupied for quite some time.

And as others have pointed out, apparently now IMDB requires reviews to be a minimum length. Apparently, that wasn't always the case, as the featured review is less than half of what I have typed so far (and it STILL is requiring an addition 200 characters.

It seems kind of silly that you have to pad your review with unnecesssary text just to reach 500 letters.

I wish IMDB would go back to their previous policy when a review was good enough. It is ok.
