Aunt Viv suggests that Will find something creative to do after school like join one of the clubs. He laughs it off until Uncle Phil suggests that he get a job - suddenly, the club idea looks pretty good. Following his libido, he follows the girls into the poetry club. Freestyling the works of a made-up street poet called Raphael de la Ghetto he manages to woo the girls in the club who want to hear more, especially the club president Christina. She's so taken with his work that she gets him to promise that he'll bring Raphael to the club meeting. In over his head and without his phony poet, Geoffrey decides to step in and play the part. Several people in the audience recognize him, and the jig is up. Christina is angry with Will until Jazz steps forward and admits to being the real Raphael de la Ghetto - which gets him a date. At home, Will finds out that all of his poems have gotten everyone dates.
