Because of Courteney Cox and David Arquette's marriage, the opening credits had Courteney billed first above Jennifer and the main cast members and show's creators had the name "Arquette" after their names.
The closing credits read: "To Courteney and David, who did get married."
While Joey is driving the cab through the desert you can hear the theme from Taxi Driver (1976)
When Ross says that he and Rachel shouldn't have been allowed to get married due to how drunk they were, he's actually correct. In real life, marriages in which one or both of the partners is under the influence of alcohol are invalid. This also means that Phoebe is half-right when she says their marriage doesn't count because it happened in Las Vegas; it doesn't count, but not for her reason.
At the beginning of this episode as Joey and Phoebe run into the chapel, they are heard speaking but their mouths aren't moving.
