- A recurring joke throughout the episode regards walking around naked. This joke is first brought up by Phoebe, who tells Rachel that she should walk around naked when home alone, before admitting that she does it herself.
- Rachel goes to the kitchen in a bathrobe before realising that she is home alone. She drops the bathrobe and walks around the apartment naked. We see her bare back and sideboob frequently throughout the scene. She sings naked by the window, not realising that Ross can see her. He subsequently mistakes this for Rachel wanting to have sex with him.
