a fine episode

All of these reviews about it being clips from previous shows....Uh...when this came out 20+ years ago...they weren't in syndication...no reruns...dvd box sets weren't a thing, i don't think. pretty sure it was vhs. wasn't in HD. If you missed an episode 20 years ago, you had to wait months for it to re air...and if you missed the re airing...good luck. You can wait a few years to see it again unless you rented the season on blockbuster once it came out...or bought an entire season...how much were they back then??? Like $50 a season? It was insane.
This was fine.
Friendsback (BORING AGAIN)

This shows love story arcs are soo boring. Especially Ross and Rachel. Rachel is most boring and annoying character. Even Emily, is better than her. Even Janice! I'm waiting for Chandler&Monica. I bet it will be better. Chandler and Joey are saving show while fourth season. Others just boring. But it's just for fourth season. Others were better first 3 seasons.
filler episode

Warning: Spoilers
Skip it if you want it's pretty bad- it's just flashing back on everything- to sum it up racheal decided she doesn't want to go to rosses wedding and then they flash back endlessly- i love this show but this is the episode i always skip.
For REAL Friends fans...

So what if it's a compilation, mostly, of great scenes from prior episodes? Every now and then it was nice to look back at some quality stuff put together with a storyline...remember this was before streaming and many people didn't have season disc collections. So lighten up you givers of anything less than an "8"...or go watch Seinfeld...
its not the best but it doesn't deserve to be the worst

This Friends episode is just a episode containing flashbacks of Ross and Rachel. The writers do a great job with these flashbacks, as they make it interesting. Like here with invitations, Joey's interview, Chandler and Monica's vows, etc. It also makes sense by saving the money for the season finales. Back in the day, people had to watch it on TV every week. It would be very easy to forget some of these scenes. And I get the argument of waiting a week or so for these types of episodes but I don't think fans of Friends would mind that much. It's actually a great trip down the memory lane.
Now would this arguably be the worst episode of Friends? Yes, probably but as a biased fan, I couldn't help but give it a 10.

I made an account to review this episode.

It's Ross and Rachel. It's Peanut Butter and Jelly. It's the true whole basis that we all know, loved, and hoped for the entire time. Let the damn show take a breath and show us how we're where we are at this point if you were actually watching it for the first time. The people that make this down terribly aren't wrong. Honestly. BUT. It's almost necessary. It keeps things in check and can still be laughed at until no end. Flashback episodes are well, a bit of a Catch 22. But sometimes you gotta go with the cliches.
The first 'Friends' flashback episode
studioAT23 June 2017
This is the first of the 'Friends' flashback/clip episodes, and although I recognise the need for the producers to stretch the budget, there's a lazy quality to these episodes, and this one is no exception.
Yes, it's nice to see the most memorable moments of the Ross/Rachel relationship, but it doesn't necessarily make for the most interesting of episodes for the audience.
The linking scenes of new material are OK, but it's laboured stuff all round.
The beauty of DVD is that you can skip episodes like this and pretend they don't exist. I do.

The One with the Invitation

Warning: Spoilers
The first of the crappy episodes made to save the budget.
We basically get to see the main parts of the Ross/Rachel relationship from each side.
Why would we want it? I rather rewatch the episodes from the past if I want to see those scenes again. And in this episode I would rather see something new and original Instead we don't even get to see anything that is new and funny.
Actually it is so bad that I don't even remember what else was in there except of the clips the next day.
One of the episodes not worth watching again

All you gotta know is ross is trying to figure out if he wants rachel in his wedding or not. And then Rachel is trying to deciede if she actually wants to go.
Rest of the episode is only flashbacks of rachel-ross relationship moments.

Nothing special skip it

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is just a bland flashback episode that has zero impact on the story or whatsoever. There aren't any jokes it's just pure filler you can skip that one. Basically shows ross and Rachel's relationship from start to finish and nothing else it's just ross remembering for some reason. He's really happy with that English girl but for some reason even though Rachel was pretty bad to him he still thinks about her and idk it's supposed to make you feel sad but i hated Rachel from the start she's annoying. Anyway nothing special about that episode it's just bland and probably the worst of the series.
