For the scene where Graeme shoots himself with the tomatoes, he wore padding on one side to soften his fall. However he turned the wrong way and fell on his non-padded side.
Tim mentions that he use to be Champagne Charlie. This is a reference to the highly paid vaudeville entertainer George Leybourne who become known as Champagne Charlie due to the song of the same name that became his signature tune. Due to the changing public taste in entertainment and his lavish lifestyle, he died penniless in 1884 aged 42. The term Champagne Charlie still continues to refer to a person who has or gives the impression of, a person of substantial means and lavish lifestyle.
