• [the old lady who lives in the floor below the Goodies takes messages for them. She walks in to their office, hands Bill a note, and then walks out without saying a word] 

  Tim : Can't she speak?

  Bill : She can't even write!

  [Reading from the note] 

  Bill : Dear Giddies...

• Chief Beefeater : Who are you?

  Graeme Garden : [Handing Bill and Tim a large spear, each]  Here you are, we might need these!

  Tim : Alright, let's go!

  [Passionately, as he marches towards the door] 

  Tim : FOR ENGLAND!

  [Just as he reaches the door, Tim pauses and turns to face the others with a fearful expression on his face] 

  Tim : *Why* might we need these?

  Graeme Garden : Well, it might be a bit dangerous!

  Bill : [Excited]  Oh yes, it could get a bit rough! FOR ENGLAND!

  Graeme Garden : FOR ENGLAND!

  Tim : Actually, I don't really care too much about England...

  Bill : [Hustling a reluctant Tim out the door]  Go on, get out there!
