The movie "Bad Day at Pasadena" that Mr. Fortnay, played by Jonathan Hole, mentions is a made-up title. The two stars that he mentions, i.e. Milton Sills and Butterfly McQueen, both appear in productions from the same early era of Hollywood movies, but never appear in any movies together, especially in that Mr. Sills is white and Ms. McQueen is black and never would have been given equal billing in a Hollywood movie from that era.
