Scattered Around a Sad Core
GunnersMate28 April 2018
An odd mix of scattered literary subplots with pirate radio and Hamish's love life at the core. It was uneven, with plenty of silly bits, sweet romance, and broken hearts. The viewer is left in puzzlement for much of the episode and there is a tragic twist that pulls everything down. An episode that needs to be seen for series continuity, is keen to be seen for the romance, and is rather left unseen for all other reasons.

Another excellent episode

Almost as good as "Wee Jock's Lament". I wish they hadn't ended this episode as they did. Just sayin'.

Buckle Up!

I found this gem to be the best episode in the series, by far. Strange, yes. Fragmented, possibly. But they pull it off in great fashion! Well done!
