Have Olan, Will Soule
zsenorsock9 May 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This is an odd episode. Paladin is hired by perfumer Michelle Deverall (Svea Grunfeld) to help her brother Pierre (Ed Nelson). When Paladin tracks down Pierre, he finds him about to be hung for a murder he didn't commit. He only signed that confession to humiliate his family. Uh-huh.

Paldin has only hours to find the real killers and prove they did it rather than Pierre.

One of the things that makes this episode odd is th fact Michelle plays her part with a French accent. However, Nelson as her brother must not have got the note. You'd think a guy named Pierre Deverall might sound pretty French, but not Nelson. He chose to go the other way. Another odd thing about this is the appearance of Olan Soule as the desk clerk at Paladin's hotel. What makes this odd is that in a number of episodes ("Hey Boy's Revenge" etc.) Soule played the desk clerk at Paldin's Carlton Hotel in San Francisco! The other thing that makes it odd is that all the bad guys actually have to do is leave town and they'll pretty much be safe and they'll hang old Pierre, but instead they hang around and try and find ways to hide their identities.
