Paladin quotes the renown phrase from FDR's first inaugural speech, "there is nothing to fear, but fear itself". Although Henry David Thoreau originated the adage, he wrote it as "Nothing is so much to be feared as fear," in 1851. Either source makes Paladin's use of it erroneous and or anachronistic.
