This was a downer on gun violence. Trying to find humor on this subject matter fell short. Considering this show was a comedy, it became clear that they really couldn't handle serious issues that were effecting the United States in 1990. With that said, sadly guns in schools is much worst today and nothing has changed regarding guns in school.

Skewed Statistics

The statistics are skewed at best, intentionally exaggerated at worst. The low numbers of deaths by guns in "gun free" nations don't mention the stabbings and blunt instruments or homemade explosives. Inanimate objects don't kill people, people kill people, and the problem isn't guns, or knives or anything else, it's a lack of respect for life.
