Boring comedy episode. I usually skip in re-watches.

Warning: Spoilers
Robert de Valicourt and Gina de Valicourt, both immortals, are about to celebrate their 300th wedding anniversary, but they are having marriage difficulties. Duncan tries to help and drags Methos in to help as well. This is a comedy episode.

If you love the comedies and/or love watching just to see Hugh Fitzcairn interact with Duncan, then you may love this episode. Notably, Jeremy Brudenell, whom I loved as Nicholas Ward, in season 2 episode 6, 'The Vampire,' plays de Valicourt.

There's a lot of overacting and melodrama. Gina in present-day is tired of Robert and wants a divorce. There are flashbacks of Hugh and Mac both in love with Gina in 1696, but she falls for Robert. She later asks them both to give away. In 1796, Robert is capture and taken to the guillotine. Mac, Hugh, and Gina rescue him.

Duncan's plan is to get Methos to go after Robert so that Gina will come to his rescue and remember how much she loves him. She does but vows to hunt down Methos. Anyway, it all ends with a light ending.

I have to be honest, I found the episode boring. There were no overwhelming laughs from me. A smile or two but that about it. I didn't care about this couple. They weren't interesting or compelling to me. I usually skip this episode in re-watches. I gave it a 4/10.
