Fiction or fact?

This is a documentary on the second DVD of the 2-Disc set of Kingdom of Heaven, obviously regarding that film. It consists of actual footage from at least one location(shot in present day, in case you weren't sure), interviews, drawings and such, of the time and the battles, speaks and, finally, clips from the movie. It is of course mostly the "real people", the experts, that talk, the focus of this being how realistic and true the depiction is. They go into what the source of the conflict is, and the crusades are described, to an extent. The pacing isn't bad. It's about 43 minutes long. We get to see weapons, armor and the like from the period. The castle that they used in the silver screen effort is covered, and its defenses and structure gone into. The editing is quite good, if a tad flashy in one or two brief parts. The whole thing is informative and interesting, and relatively entertaining, as well. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the historical basis of the Ridley Scott Hollywood production. 7/10
