The ever lovely Christina Ricci guests as Joey's spoilt sister in another fun episode of the show.

Her performance is fab, and more than makes up for the fact that again the writers cheapen the character of Joey by giving him some very unworthy lines, and also the rubbish 'Alex is a Spanish maid' moments.

The best bits of the episodes are the scenes featuring Joey and Gina working together, with Matt Le Blanc and Drea De Matteo's chemistry being lovely as ever.

It was nice also to see Michael having a story line, though quite why Joey had to be involved I don't know.

A mixed episode overall, but it had its moments.

Joey and the Fancy Sister (#1.19)

Mary Teresa, the younger sister comes for a visit. She is an annoying brat who always brags about her "fancy" life. Only turns out that her fiancé gave her a fake diamond ring. So she decides to leave him and stay with Joey so he takes care of her. But this is too much for Joey especially since she drives everyone in his life crazy. So him and Gina find a way to get her back with her fiancé.

Was surprising to see Christina Ricci in this role. She is a great actress and did this annoying sister very well. I though hope to never see this character again as she is indeed very annoying. But it was sweet Joey showed Gina that he is his favorite sister!
