I was excited to see this episode of "Lights Out" because it starred a wonderful actress, Josephine Hull. She was amazing in "Arsenic and Old Lace" as well as "Harvey" and won an Oscar for her wonderful way of playing ditsy old ladies. This episode is one of her last performances before she died at age 80. The show also happens to feature a very young John Forsythe in a supporting role.
The show has to do with a very sad man (Forsythe), as his beloved wife recently died. Yet, despite this, he seems pretty happy and reportedly is bringing home a new bride. What exactly happens next you'll need to see for yourself. Overall, this is a very good episode. However, don't expect a lot of thrills or chills. Instead, the story is genuinely sad and poignant. Well worth seeing and cleverly written.
By the way, if you are interested in seeing any of the episodes of "Lights Out", many are available for free download at archive.org. Some are very good (such as "Dead Man's Coat" and "The Meddlers"), however, many are not.
