The Ranger Keeps Fighting
This is the second of the three episodes which kicked off the series and are a continuing plot line. In this one, the viewer learns how The Ranger came to acquire his great mount, Silver. It's also revealed that he owns a valuable silver mine which can finance his and Tonto's crime fighting adventures. We find out about ex-Ranger Jim Blaine who manages the mine for him. Blaine is the only other person than Tonto who knows his former identity as John Reid. And we learn why the Ranger chooses to use his famous silver bullets and how they are made. A classic episode with another cliffhanger type ending, setting up the third episode.
