The dialogue is good in this episode, and we see some great moments with Charlie and the other characters. However, the story is a bit contrived and it takes awhile before the writers reveal if guest Larry Linville is a villain or not. Actually, I think this premise would've worked better with Russian spies or an undercover agent trying to bust a drug cartel in a suburban neighborhood. It also seems a little too coincidental that the house where they choose to conduct this sting operation just so happens to be the home of a major newspaper editor. The redeeming aspect of this story is the scene about mid-way into the episode where Lou and the others talk about entrapment.
