Plenty of Treasure Here
WalterKafka3 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
'What do you think of the work of Truman Capote?' Alan Hale Jr is a famous crime writer. He's a big personality. Georgia Engel is his niece. Jared Martin is a literary agent looking to land Hale. (I know Martin from the Italian movies he made later on.) He's also interested in Julie. Vicki is trying a makeover. Once again, she's after a boy, this time an old class mate. Paul Williams is on a treasure hunt. That treasure may end up being Joanna Pettet. Man, she's got some nice gams. She dwarfs Paul. Paul locks Pettet in the men's bathroom - just to get an advantage finding the treasure. Their rivalry is a bunch of fun. Isaac mentions to Hale that he's interested in writing a novel - a fun callback. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 1/2 * out of a possible 5 *.
