In "The Business of Love", reformed prostitute Jill Williams is trying to build a new life for herself but may be drawn back into her old line of work when abrasive former client Ray Foster recognizes her on board and wants to buy her services because he is unhappily married to his wife Myrna. However, Jill is getting acquainted with monied bachelor Bill Wainwright. "Crash Diet Crisis" has Merrill Stubing trying to impress his high school friend Jocelyn Hyatt Matthews, who no longer calls him by his high school nickname String Bean Stubing because he's gained weight since then. He's so desperate to lose weight that he goes on a fast, becomes cranky, and upsets the crew. But then Gopher devises a devious plan to help. "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" concerns economist Roberta Roberts, who was widowed when her Air Force Lieutenant husband died during a training flight. On board, she meets up with widowed stockbroker Nate Jordan, who is equally lonely.
