It's open season on Sonny Bradley
kapelusznik1821 December 2014
*****SPOILERS*** After getting him good and drunk as well as doped up Larry Gerard and Myrna Bradley, Herbert Rudley & Paula Raymond, place a gun in the unconscious Sonny's, Dennis Patrick, Myrna husband's hand and make it look like he tried to kill her in a drunk and drug induced black-out. Unfortunately while trying to get neighbors to witness the big event the gun went off, with Larry pulling the trigger, fatally wounding next door neighbor Chase, Leonard P. Geer, who came to help.

In trying to pin the shootings on Sonny and have him at the least committed if not sent to the electric chair the plan by both Myrna & Gerard, who were secret lovers as well as embezzling Sonny out of his income as a jazz musician, fell apart in them not able to keep their story and facts straight. It's Let. Det. Frank Ballinger, Lee Marvin, who saw a number of holes, big enough to drive a tractor-trailer through, in Myrna's story that made her accomplice in all this Larry Gerard very nervous. So nervous that he later killed Myrna when she threatened to expose the entire scam of theirs to avoid saving prison time.

***SPOILERS*** Trying to pin Myrna death on Sonny who with his help escaped from a mental institution Gerald planned to murder him and make it look like self defense when he was to meet him at the night club, after hours, that he worked at. Not realizing that Sonny got in touch with the police in him finally seeing, after he sobered up, that he was being played for a both sucker and pasty Let. Det. Ballinger and members of M Squad were there to see and hear Gearad confess to his crimes. That as he was about to plug Sonny which the police, by Ballinger shooting and disarming him, prevented Gerald from doing.
