In the beginning, the surgeons have just finished a long surgery session and are sitting together, exhausted. Radar comes and asks Father Mulcahy to come to the phone quickly, as Radar's cow in Iowa is giving birth, and his mother is on the phone. They run to Radar's office, where Winchester is there, miffed that Radar's call is getting through before his call will. Winchester was there in the post-op with all the other exhausted surgeons. He managed to shower, dress and get to Radar's office well before Radar and Mulcahy, who are running, arrive.
The ambulance doesn't leave tracks in the fake snow at the end.
You can see the cameras shadow go over Mulcahy's face at the beginning of the episode.
Winchester comments about hearing the bell of the Old North Church coming across the pond to the Boston Common. There is no pond in between those two locations.
In Radar's office, Maj. Winchester is angered to learn that the "Edna" that Father Mulcahy is about to bless over the phone is a cow. However, when Radar came to the surgeons' changing room to get Father Mulcahy in the previous scene and described that Edna was the family cow, Maj. Winchester was sitting right there (albeit out of shot) and would have learned it then.
He was not sitting out of shot he had left the changing room entirely so he never did hear radar say it was a cow.

Hawkeye toasts and dedicates the Christmas song to, "Father John Patrick Francis Mulcahy". However, in Nurse Doctor (1979), Mulcahy states his full name as "Francis John Patrick Mulcahy".
