  MacGyver : [voice-over narration]  Tommy Giordano was a good friend of mine. Had been since the first time I gave him a bath and got wetter than he did. I'd known Tommy's mom, Mary Ruth, since I first came to the Phoenix Foundation. She was a lab technician - one of the best. Her husband Richard was a successful surgeon. They had everything a family could want, except a happy marriage. The divorce was hard.
