Walter Goes Bankrupt
Jimmy_the_Gent43 February 2020
Walter is looking to open up a second store but the bank will not give him a loan.

The first part of a good Walter story in three episodes. The beginning is a very funny scene of the Findlays and Harmons in Acapulco. Maude is constantly swatting flies in the restaurant they are in. She also tries to sing "Spanish Eyes" but mariachi band drowns her out with their trumpets. Walter then finds out he cannot get the bank loan. Dick Van Patten ("Eight Is Enough") plays his lawyer and he says Walter should declare bankruptcy. There are some good laughs as Walter is named Business Man of the Year and has to give a speech at the banquet. The people there are all ones he had hired and he tells them he cannot pay them, he gets pelted with dinner rolls. The credits then show To Be Continued...
