- Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) reads to his bots Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy) and Crow T. Robot (Trace Beaulieu). They are in a hurry because the Magic Voice (Jann Johnson) is already counting down to the next torturous film. In the battle of inventions, Joel presents his invention of a guitar controlled telepathically and Dr Clayton Forrester (Trace Beaulieu) invents an electric guitar which sounds like dog's bone toys. The doctor and his sidekick Fran (Frank Conniff) make Sylvia (Robert Czech) and Jerry (Nathan Molstead) bear witness to how wonderful the invention is, although the two humanized chimps are unhappy about hearing the "music".

Two months later, in Japan, some villagers are praying desperately. The priestess consoles an old woman that her son is not dead.
Cut to a competition of disco dancing. Two guys have to stop dancing while another one stares. They want to hijack a boat, but the owner is there and points his shotgun to them. The owner finds they are sailing away the following morning.
