During the host segment when Mike begins turning into a Were-Crow and asks Crow what to expect, Crow mentions that his voice will change every seven years or so - a reference to the fact that the actor who provided the voice of Crow changed from Trace Beaulieu in the eighth season to Bill Corbett in the show's ninth season.

At the time of this episode, "Werewolf" was the most recently released film to ever be featured in MST3K's eleven season run. It was beat out by the episode that featured Future War (1999) in season 10. Yet "Werewolf" still remains the most recently FILMED movie to be featured on the series, as "Future War" was actually shot four years before it was released.
