Ryan is so...

Ryan is so annoying, how is he gonna get mad at Marissa for being with DJ over the summer, when she thought he was gone forever? He chose to leave her... and now he likes this new girl oh so much, he's always moving on extremely fast, but he can't seem to be ok with Marissa being with anyone else...

Also Seth is extremely annoying now too, why is he still obsessing over Summer??! When he LEFT her all summer... when he didn't have to. That entire storyline of him spending the summer in Portland because Ryan left was just flat out dumb, and the fact he was mad at his parents when they tried to help & stop Ryan.

I wish Marissa could just have fun also, she's always dealing with drama or something really bad. I can't remember the last time it felt she was truly having fun.

The group hang.

It's a new era in Newport Beach. Kirsten and Julie try and work together at The Newport Group, while Sandy tries to find out what Caleb is hiding. Seth and Ryan go on a double date with Lindsay and Alex, but it ends differently than the four of them might have expected.

Right from the beginning, the Cohens talk about a new era. Seth lost Summer, Ryan hurries up for a physics quiz, Kirsten has to work with Julie and Sandy is unemployed.

It seems that this episode is not so much about Summer and Marissa, they hardly have a few scenes. This is the biggest breakup Summer and Seth ever had, but they will get over it... eventually.

The New Era (#2.4)

Seth wants a group hang at the concert for which he got tickets for Summer. Ryan asks Lindsay out for him and she says yes even though at first she thought she will go out with Ryan. And Seth gets Alex to go out with Ryan. Those dates are a mess but at the end all works out fine, Ryan and Alex pretty much exchange dates and Marissa gets together with DJ.

Not a bad episode. Hope this new era will go on for a while. Because once again, Alex is way more awesome than Summer. Ryan and Lindsay belong together too, such boring people. I mean, there are people who don't like live music???? When he said it I was shocked, no wonder I dislike the guy, he is crazy.
